These last few weeks have really been good to me in more ways that I can't count, so I'll just go right into it.

First, Mocha Memoirs Press will be publishing my Dimensional Bridge series and I couldn't be happier. The edits to the first book are complete, so I'm working on edits for the second book in the series now. Shout-out to my editor Lexxx who is amazing, a treasure trove of ideas, and incredibly helpful when I needed to work my main character out of a jam. I absolutely love this series and it has definitely ignited me to finishing not only this one up, but another trilogy that has been the works for a while, too.

Second, be on the lookout for the January edition of Apex Magazine. Message in a Vessel is going for a second reprint! Woohooooooooo! I was sure it was a hoax when I got the email request, so I had a do a little research to make sure it was real. I'm still over the moon about it, too. Apex Magazine is like one of my dream magazine to end up in. Have you seen their covers?! Good lord, they're gorgeous. That alone is an eye-grabber. But then the stories inside are just as thrilling. I consider an a huge honor to be a part of something this incredible.

Third, I went to DragonCon and had a blast with my little A.J. (also known as Middle Bit). We partied in the Hilton, caught the parade in front front of the Marriott, and took some fabulous pics because my kiddo was the only Mina Ashido from My Hero Academia we could find there. I really love that Middle Bit has absolutely fallen in love with cosplaying. Unfortunately, my wallet doesn't like it so much, but who can resist these kinds of results? Plus, she's learning that the more she can make on her own, the less I have to buy and the more supportive I'll be.

Yes, we are Demon Slayer fans to the core. My kiddo (Tanjiro) and I (Nezuko--I lost a bet), and our aunt (Zenitsu--she stayed in character the WHOLE time), paused for this pic on the street.

But, our convention days aren't over yet. If you're going to be at IchibanCon or Anime Town Greenville in January, stop by and say hello. This is more so for the kiddo to have her cosplay fun, but I always enjoy meeting fans whether they're hers (I think she has about 10k followers on Tik Tok) or mine (I don't do Tik Tok, as I just now started an Instagram account).

That reminds me. I should probably post my Instagram handle: vgharrison_author .
