In preparation for my new series, I need to make some changes to my website. Not a lot, but enough to be noticeable. Those will be coming as soon as possible. Project Solstice will still be available, but I want to make sure it's clear that my new books won't be alien oriented.

Speaking of which, the Viability Series is going to be my latest and greatest project and I'm hoping to have the first book released Spring 2016. That's as clear as I can be right now because I'm still in the process of writing the fourth book and my beta reader has just finished going through the first book. None of the books have been through official, yet, but I'm getting there. I've narrowed down who I want to be a part of my publishing team (i.e. proof reader, copy editor, content editor, cover artist, etc.), so that's huge in itself. There's a lot of work left to do with making sure this is ready for prime time.

The good news is that there will be at least four books in the series. The schedule is up in the air right now because I can't decide if I want a weekly or a bi-monthly release. It'll really depend on where I'm at with the other books by the time the first book is complete.

So just to give you some idea of what the Viability Series is about, it's probably more biopunk science fiction than anything. If you've heard of cyberpunk, then think of biopunk as the same, only instead of information technology, this is biotechnology. Really cool, huh? If it's not, it will be.

The Viability Series takes place about 50 years into the future and it answers the question about what would happen if we human extinction had been declared. What would happen in terms of the miniscule number of people who could still conceive viable births? Would we give into media sensationalism of every blessed event? How would the government react? Would they step in and take control, and if so, to what extent? There are conspiracy theorists, religious zealots, and billions of corporate dollars at stake, and it's all in the name of reproduction. All of this and more will swallow up the world of Lilia Grayson...and attempt to destroy those who mean to protect her. After all, she's the goose with the golden eggs. The Viable Eggs, to be exact, book one in the Viability Series. It's Children of Men meets The Hunger Games. Heaven help the children who are born into this "new world" of disorder.

It's been a long time in coming, but it's finally here. Space 51 is now available through Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Smashwords. I still have hopes for iTunes, but I've lost the links--I have no idea how, since they were there before--for all of my books in iTunes. Go figure that one.

Also, I have another project in the works that's a different--sort of--science fiction, but fun all the same. I don't normally like to talk about my projects because I don't want to jinx them, but I've already completed the first draft on three novels. So, I already know that it'll be three books long. I'll have more news about that later. So in the meantime, I hope you enjoy Space 51.

Blurb:

Ava Frost has a new mission and a new enemy. To stop the impending alien invasion of Earth, she and her brother Elias must use their special connection to computerized consciousness Ian 2 to infiltrate Space 51, an illegal base in orbit around Saturn’s moon.

The human alien hybrids on Space 51 could play a vital role in defeating a hostile alien race that nearly wiped them all out once…and plans to try again. But can they be trusted? As Ava struggles to figure out if working with the human aliens of Space 51 is enough to stave off the coming invasion, she becomes the target of a malevolent telepath who may be eavesdropping on her every conversation.

Needing to escape the telepath and severe the connection, Ava returns to Earth with Elias and discovers information about a secret sect of humans called MJ-21, which was initially formed on Earth but eventually abandoned it due to political dissention. Their mission is to maintain a presence among the human alien races throughout the galaxy, no matter how many lives it costs. Can Ava and Elias convince MJ-21 to join the fight against the coming invaders and save the billions of people they left behind? Or will past agendas and political ambitions once more leave Earth an easy target?
